Artfight is an annual online event, typically starting July 1st, where artists join one of two teams and draw each other's OCs to earn points for their team. The team with the most points wins, but it's just for fun. It's a great event to just draw for fun, try new things, make friends and make someone's day by drawing their characters.

I personally recommended instead of text find a cute gif or graphic that represents what you like to make your profile fun and colorful. But of course it's up to you to express yourself however you'd like!

If you are looking for something specific, like fandoms or specific motifs. I recommend looking up stuff on Deviantart. There are still remnants of free to use stamps and graphics, before the AI slop takeover. Make sure you check the description to make sure the graphics are free to use.
COMMON ETIQUETTE
✿ Check and Respect a character's do's and don'ts list
✿ Message the user of an OC if you are unsure of character permissions.
✿ Please put the appropiate filters on your art
✿ Artfight is for fun so chill out and don't point grind
✿ Don't use Artfight to get free art of your OCs without participating
✿ Links for commissions and you shop is allowed in your profile but Artfight is for fun, don't be pushy about selling stuff.
✿ Don't expect artwork back, it's a gifting event
✿ Don't just attack high skilled artists
✿ Don't harass or guilt trip people to draw your OCs or Attack
✿ Don't do low effort mass group pictures for points
✿ Don't be mean or snub new artists, all skills are welcomed
✿ Leave comments on OCs and profiles you like
✿ Say thank you when someone draws your OC/ Attacks you
✿ Be kind, good vibes only
BASIC RULES

✿ You need to be 13 years or older to participate
✿ Don't beg or emotionally manipulate someone to draw art for you
✿ Do not start drawing stuff for Artfight early.
✿ No characters of real people, or personifications of countries
✿ Only make art for Artight during Artfight
✿ No AI art allowed
✿ Do not trade or sell anything made for Artfight
✿ Bases can be used for character sheets, but NOT for attacking
✿ No Hateful or discriminatory content and behavior
✿ Nudity is allowed but must have a filter. No
✿ Attacks must be for other users "Design Yourself a Character" or anything similar is not allowed
✿ Exposed male nipples requires a filter. (Artfight stands strongly against sexism and to avoid problems around characters of non-binary genders,)
✿Triggering topics are allowed but must have a filtered
BE WHOLESOME
✿ Attack users who have not gotten attacks yet
✿ Leave comments on OCs you like even if you don't plan to attack them
✿ Leave comments on other artists attacks too not just yours.
✿ Attack because the OC is cool not the skill of the artist.
✿ Be supportive and attack beginner artists
✿ Attack someone new to Artfight
